How to wind an end fed halfwave autotransformer.

Image
Although I enjoy building and using end-fed halfwave antennas (EFHW), I dread making the autotransformer necessary to match my low impedance transceiver to the high impedance of the EFHW. However, thanks to this excellent video from Colin (MM0OPX), I have an easy-to-follow tutorial that takes me step-by-step through the entire construction process.  Colin helps you every step of the way until you're done with a sturdy, well-made autotransformer suitable for both low and high power usage. Here are some comments from Scott (NB0W): Close up details of how I built my 20 meter delta loop antenna. This antenna has worked well for the CW POTA activations I've used it on so far. Materials Used: The 12m carbon fiber poles came from AliExpress. There are many different suppliers/brands of them. I ordered these just before tariffs https://www.aliexpress.us/item/325680... While building, my thought with the plastic cutting board was for insulation, but the wire...
