My first Beverage antenna really surprised me!

  If you need an excellent HF receiving antenna, please try this "Beverage" very long wire antenna from Linas (LY2H). The original Beverage Antenna was designed and used by Harold H. Beverage in 1921. As Linas says, he was "surprised" at how good the antenna worked on amateur radio frequencies.  Although this antenna found its primary use on LF and MW frequencies, the antenna does remarkably well on several ham bands.  If you have the space, why not build one of these "classic" antennas for your next ARRL Field Day or POTA/SOTA operations?
