Simple Ham Radio Antennas

According to Tim (K5OHY), if you want a HF antennas that is "simple, versatile, and (produces) great results", build a multiband doublet antenna. In this video, Tim explores the pros and cons of the "classic" doublet antenna. After taking us through the antenna build, Tim deploys the doublet for a QRP activation with excellent results. Here are some comments from Tim (K5OHY): I cover the advantages of a multiband doublet, show some modeling, and then deploy it for a QRP activation.   According to Time (G5TM), the "classic" Doublet Antenna may be "the best portable multiband Ham Radio antenna." In this video, Time explores the pros and cons of this simple, effective HF antenna. The doublet is easy to set up, deploy, and use in a variety of field and home station environments. Here are some comments from Tim (G5TM). At last I got to try an antenna for portable HF that I have always enjoyed using in a compromised position at home. This time I had the space to properly deploy a 66ft (20m) Doublet Antenna and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Join me as I put this classic multi-band antenna through its paces, whilst showing how I put it together and tuned it. As well as showing its on-air performance.
