Ham Radio: Simple Multi-Band Vertical Antenna
There's nothing like a "Classic" HF antenna to explore the Amateur Radio Bands. In this video, Tim (G5TM) modifies the decades-old W3EDP HF antenna to produce a simple, effective design suitable for both home station use and "field operations." All you need is a 4:1 Unun, some coaxial feed line, an optional "tuner", 84-feet (25.603 meters) of speaker wire, and a telescoping fiberglass mast. A real “slap it up and get on the air antenna.” Connect with my channel by subscribing and commenting. Transcript Follow along using the transcript.
