5-band low cost attic antenna

Radio amateurs living in deed-restricted properties (HOAs and CC&Rs) may find this HF antenna idea from Peter Waters (G3OJV) worth building.

Peter shows us how to build a 5-band HF wire antenna in your attic.  This antenna is perhaps the best "stealth" antenna you can find, since it's invisible to neighbors and HOA enforcers.

Although the antenna has limitations, it will get you on the air without compromising your back yard or garden.  The antenna is easy to build with locally available materials.

Here are some comments from Peter (G3OJV):

For those with smaller gardens, or indeed no gardens, the attic may be one of the best options as a site for an antenna. Whilst it is easy to install a VHF antenna in the attic, it can be even easier to install and HF antenna. Here, Peter G3OJV shows how it is very easy to install a multi-band HF antenna, even in quite a small loft or attic. Your Ham Radio Store https://www.hamradiostore.co.uk
