EFHW as Inverted Vee

Image
If you don't have the space for full-sized horizonal End Fed Halfwave (EFHW) HF antenna, please try this EFHW Inverted Vee antenna from Dave Casler (KE0OG). The inverted vee will save you some horizontal room and still deliver decent coverage of the lower HF amateur radio bands (80 meters and 40 meters). This antenna will work fairly well, even though the support mast is short (20 feet/6.096 meters).  With careful design, this antenna may be suitable for those living in deed-restricted housing. Here are some comments from Dave (KE0OG): James, KJ5NAX, asks what Dave would suggest for a horizontal antenna system to cover most of HF. Again, the HOA restricts antennas to 20 feet tall, so what is a good system for this situation? Subscribe:     / davecasler   ...
