DX Commander Inverted L Antenna for 75/80m
Another way of placing a long 75/80m antenna on a small urban property is to build an inverted L antenna, using a fiberglass mast or a convenient tree limb. In this video, Callum (M0MCX) uses one of his "DX Commander" masts to support an inverted L for these two amateur radio bands. Coupled with a simple counterpoise or ground radial system, this antenna produces excellent contacts from a small backyard.
