Ham Radio: Doublet Antenna & Coax.

As you build your "classic" doublet HF antenna, what kind of feedline do you prefer?  Coaxial cable or "LadderLine?

In this video, Tim (G5TM) discusses the pros and cons of doublet antenna feedlines.  Although the traditional doublet antenna used a balanced feedline measuring approximately 600 ohms, current designs of this familiar HF antenna can use 450 ohm (ladder line), 300 ohm (television twin lead), and even coaxial cable.

Tim does a good job of explaining the capabilities of each feedline, so you can choose the option best suited for your operation.
