T2FD Full Coverage HF Radio Antenna-the B&W 3.5-30 MHz Antenna

Thanks to Brett of the "SurvicalComms" website for this fascinating and well-documented rebuild of a "classic" Barker and Williamson terminated folded dipole antenna (T2FD).

Brett takes us through an entire rebuilding and modification of this decades-old HF broadband antenna.

Despite the age and minor deterioration of this antenna, a complete refurbishing of this antenna with new parts makes this multiband HF antenna a contender with other antennas on the market.

So, if you find one of these B&W "classics", please consider making it your own-you won't be disappointed.

Here are some comments from Brett:

Video on the granddaddy of broadband HF radio antennas. In this video we take a decades old Barker and Williamson AC 3.5 - 30 terminated folded dipole antenna that was run over with a lawnmower and resurrect it. We disassemble and study the core components. We build new elements for the antenna and then we test the antenna. #survivalcomms
