In this video we look at how radio signals propagate, whether that be line of sight, reflection, defraction and refraction through the Ionosphere. We discuss the difference between HF (shortwave) and VHF / UHF. We also discuss Sporadic E and how that can also affect some HF signals and VHF signals mostly in the summer months.

This video is part of the Foundation Series and is suitable for Foundation Students for Ham Radio as well as anyone else interested in how radio signals propagate. Callum.
