Dirt Cheap DX-Low Cost Antenna

If you need an inexpensive, effective DX antenna for the 20 meter Amateur Radio Band, then this easily-made vertical antenna project from Walt (K4OGO) is what you need.

Most of the materials for this antenna can be found locally or online from various vendors.

Deployment of this antenna is quick and easy.  You don't need to spend a lot of money to get a great DX antenna.  Ordinary speaker wire, a few connectors, and a fiberglass mast are all you need to get on the air from the nearest park or beach.
