Build a dirt cheap speaker wire vertical antenna for HF
You don't need a lot of money to make an efficient, easily deployable antenna for the Amateur Radio HF bands.
In this video, Walt (K4OGO) shows us how build a simple speaker wire antenna covering the 20 through 10 meter amateur radio bands.
Most of the materials for this project are easily found at the nearest hardware store, building supply outlet, or online from various vendors. These parts include banana plugs, cheap speaker wire, a PVC mast, and coaxial cable.
