DIY Cubical Quad Antenna anyone can build

How would you like to build a VHF/UHF antenna with almost 15 dB of gain?

According to Chuck (KK6USY) that goal is attainable with locally available parts, some connectors, a few lengths of wire, and a sturdy mast.

Chuck offers a fascinating look at the history and practice of using cubical quad antennas for amateur radio purposes.  He also shows us how to build a 6-element cubical quad with some outstanding gain figures.

This antenna can be used in the field for SOTA/POTA operations as well at home for permanent installations.
