Build the best DX antenna-step by step guide

Here's another great DX antenna from Walt's (K4OGO) book "Salty Walt's Portable Antenna Sketchbook."

In this video, Walt shows us how to build a vertical end fed half wave antenna for the 20 meter and 15 meter Amateur Radio bands.

These moderate gain HF antennas are easy to build and simple to deploy.  Most of the materials for these antennas can be found at various online distributors.  You may already have some of the materials in your "junk box."

These antennas are fund to build and can be enjoyed at both "field" sites and at your home station.
