9:1 Unun Random Wire Antenna for Ham Radio

Is is possible to erect an antenna covering multiple amateur radio bands on a small urban lot or residential garden?

According to Peter Waters (G3OJV) this feat can be done if you use a 71-foot (21.64 meters) random wire antenna coupled to a 9:1 Unun.

In this video, Peter discusses optimum lengths, construction practices, and ground radial requirements for this simple, yet effective HF antenna.  Peter says this antenna is easy to install and covers amateur radio bands from 160 m to 10 m.

Here are some comments from Peter (G3OJV):

This is a "Random Wire" antenna that is just 71ft long and can be bent around the garden. It's easy to install and offers all-band coverage from 160m to 10m including 60m and the WARC bands. Peter G3OJV. explains how it works and how to install it and set it up.
