Simple Fan Dipole Antenna

Here's a great idea for your next portable HF antenna.

In this video, Tim (G5TM) shows how a few lengths of wire, a suitable mast, and some 300-ohm ladder line can be transformed into a versatile "fan dipole antenna" covering the 17m and 10m amateur radio bands.

Construction and deployment of this DIY HF antenna are easy.  This project can be completed in a short space of time using materials you may already have at your home station.

The antenna can addresses a variety of field or home station purposes.
